Sundowner 8 has been completed renovated and transformed from top to bottom with high-end appliances and luxurious, simple but stunning furnishings. Occupying the second and third floors of this charming, secluded complex, this unit boasts two spacious bedrooms. The primary bedroom upstairs, on the 3rd floor, features a spacious bedroom with a King bed, ensuite bathroom and a spacious rooftop terrace with incredible views of the beach and Caribbean Sea. The guest bedroom, on the 2nd floor, offers 2 large twin beds, and the condo can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests as there is a pull-out couch in the living room area.   Lovely view of a quiet, lovely beach. Walk from condo to beach was maybe one minute at most! Beach loungers (though not the most comfortable), chairs, and umbrellas are already on the beach for the use of condo guests at no charge. Condo has a large, beautiful upper-floor patio overlooking the beach and equipped with loungers (more comfortable ones), table with umbrella and chairs, drying rack, floats. Beach towels provided in condo. Jose, the property manager, was very friendly and helpful and took care of a minor problem immediately. One caveat: if using GPS to find the complex, don't use the West Bay Road address given by the rental agency; it's actually not on West Bay Road, but on a small street called Sundown Circle, which may or may not be recognized by GPS. If we had known this ahead of time it would have saved a lot of frustrating and confused driving up and down West Bay Road! The name Sundowner Condos should be recognized, though. Highly recommend this place!

  We could not have asked for a better location to be situated on for our stay in the GCM. Water as far as the eye can see in the "backyard." I wish we would have stayed in the Sundowner 3 as a family of 6, but we made it work with the pull-out bed in the couch. I would recommend this condo for a family of 4, though.
  The place was super clean, felt like a home, and the property manager was helpful in times of need.
  Our favorite thing to do while there was walk along the beach towards the resorts. Coffee shops, restaurants, sand volleyball courts all within walking distance of the condo.

  This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in this condo. Nice quiet beach and short walk to cemetery beach which is a wonderful place to snorkel. Condo is clean and well stocked. Jose arrived promptly to fix the tv and was very friendly. He recommended Grape Tree Cafe and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend staying here.

  My family of six had a wonderful time in villa #8. The view was amazing and the house was very comfortable. If you like snorkeling this is your place. Just off the beach are hundreds of tropical fish and we even saw a lobster hiding in the rocks.

  The pictures are accurate and the condo was very clean. Kitchen had all the utensils and cookware needed to make a meal. Dining by the sliding glass doors provided beautiful scenery. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. The grounds are really nice and literally steps from crystal clear water. Bug spray is needed in the evening to sit outside. Fosters supermarket allows you to place an order ahead of time which was really nice, their catering dishes were great! Rent a car as there is so much to see and do, snorkeling is a must! Food is on the expensive side and restaurants include a 15% gratuity up front.
  The only downside was maintenance came when we were not there and no advance notice was provided that they were coming (they had our phone number and email) and they came inside the unit. By chance we came home as they were leaving, the unit was checked and we didn't notice anything disturbed or missing but it still left us with a queasy feeling. Other than that, the stay was wonderful!

  Our Cayman vacation was paradise!! Love that the condo was right on the private, Seven Mile Beach area!! The beach was so secluded and tranquil!!
  The condo unit was clean and well decorated. All the cooking utensils in the kitchen were useful and there were plenty of bath and beach towels. There was plenty of body wash and shampoo in each bathroom as well. But please be advised, there are scorpions on Cayman!! We tried to open one of the beach umbrellas on the beach and we were startled by a scorpion who was resting inside the umbrella! Just have to be careful not to get too close to one!! The condo manager was notified and he came and posted a sign to warn anyone who tried to open the umbrella.
  Overall, the condo was well maintained and we had a comfortable stay. Can’t wait to visit Cayman Islands again!

  We had an incredible vacation in the Sundowner 8. The condo location was fabulous--we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling straight from the beach in front of the condo. The view of the porch was amazing. The unit was sparkling clean, and well stocked with kitchen ware, towels, etc. Our property manager, Chanel, was extremely kind and helpful in answering all of our questions and giving us some great restaurant and snorkeling recommendations.
  We had only two small issues with the condo: The downstairs shower door/glass leaked pretty badly meaning that the bathroom floor would get soaked when we used that shower. Also, all of the floors were extremely slippery, particularly the stairs and the upstairs bedroom. But none of these problems were a big issue. We loved our stay and would definitely come again!

  Very nice condo great location overlooking the water. Water is very calm & warm so you can swim day or night.. Condo was well stocked with towels and kitchen items. Wish the kitchen had better pans to cook with and some storage containers to put food in the fridge with. Also, wish the property had a cooler and some actual beach chairs that visitors could use while staying there since we like to see other parts of the island & enjoy time at the beaches. Most other rentals offer these extra things for visitors. the Condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay there.

  We enjoyed 7 nights at Sundowner. The condo was clean and stocked well with everything you may need Including beach towels, floats, etc. Well decorated. Amazing views of the ocean from the living area as well as the balcony. Balcony is on top floor and in between two units with little privacy so makes it a little awkward if you are on your balcony at same time as your neighbors. Beach however was perfect, most days we were the only one on the beach. Chairs out front and water good for snorkeling just off shore. Little rocky but overall great swimming. Sundowner is a private location on north seven mile, with one private home next door and next condos are not too close proximity so that was nice. Easy checkin and good communication from rental agency. Overall, I would recommend this unit for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of seven mile but looking for great beach access.

  We had the perfect staycation at Sundowner #8 this July 4th long weekend to celebrate the end of school/ beginning of summer. My daughter had some of her friends over to say goodbye as she and several others are heading to boarding school in September and they had the best time on the beach in front of the condo, which is private with shade trees, beach chairs & umbrellas. The water is excellent for snorkelling - they saw lobster, sea urchins, an eel and tons of fish. The unit was spacious, well furnished/ appointed, super clean & sound proof and everyone in the complex that we met was friendly & welcoming. Our host Joyce was very attentive & considerate. We absolutely loved it!

  Very neat and clean on arrival. Nicely updated and on a wonderful stretch of low density beach. Quiet area with little/no outside noise. The condo could use the following: More hanging hooks in bathrooms--especially first floor, second floor bathroom tub can get slippery and to limit accidents, recommend safety bar. Dryer didn't work well--took extra long for things to dry. The 3rd floor balcony is limited because you have other guests on either side. Not sure what you can do about it but it limited our use. Permanent occupant on inside unit, Laurent, is a wonderful person.
