  We have been vacationing at White Sands for many years now and it is always wonderful! This year it was #9. The unit was very clean and comfortable. I love to cook and the basics are included to make this happen. The bed had a new mattress and it was extremely comfortable. The property manager, Marji, is getting to be like an old friend. She is always responsive to our needs. The location is on a stretch of beach that is not crowded and usually very quiet. There is a bit of a "drop off" to enter the water but nothing that stopped me from entering. You can walk the beach a very long ways in both directions and the sunsets are gorgeous. Mosquitoes were a bit worse this year around sundown so be prepared for those little nasties. We always rent a car but find that it sits in the parking lot a great deal of the time because we just like hanging out on the beach. Hubby had a great time fishing with Dominic Jackson. We hope to be back again next year - same time.

  My wife and I (both 64) thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. First floor location of WS #9 made for easy/level beach access (less than 100 feet door to water). Private furnished outdoor patio was nice. Beach lounge chairs were provided along with beach towels. You could opt for sun or stay in the pine tree shade. AC worked fine, bed was fine, kitchen was well equipped...even provided quality paper towels, coffee filters, dishwashing liquid, scrubbers. WiFi was good, TV had lots of channels. Easy contact with local Cayman Villas Condo Mgr. Nice grocery store (Foster's) was about a mile away, numerous restaurant options close, we liked Alfresco & Morgan's Seafood best. There are 8 units (4 upstairs/4 downstairs) in each of two separate White Sands Condo buildings. There was never more than 50% occupancy of the entire complex while we were there in March 2023. Very private as the property is buffered on both sides by @ 100 yards of undeveloped land. Don't hesitate to book, VERY IMPRESSED!

  We rented White Sands unit 9 for the period of January 7 to 19, 2023. The unit was recommended by family members that previously stayed there. The unit is in a great location with just steps out the door to the beach. The beach is one of the few with natural shade from pine trees, and the sea was calm expect for two days with larger breakers. Great lounge chairs are provided that can be pulled down toward the water. One major disappointment was that unit 9, unlike other units, did not provide cushions for the lounge chairs. The unit itself was well equipped with washer and dryer, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes and glasswares. It would have been nice to have more plastic glasses. There also was a generous amount of beach towels provided. There is also a TV with all the Miami stations available so it was easy to stay informed if you so wish.. The negative is that the unit is a bit "tired" and is in need of sprucing up. The furniture is comfortable but lots of spots, and parts of the unit could use a fresh coat of paint. All in all a great vacation!

  We had a wonderful stay in White Sands 9! The location, beach, and ocean were perfect! So quiet and peaceful. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed and more! We had no issues with anything and Marji was very kind and helpful. We were delayed arriving and management was very kind and helpful salvaging our vacation. We can't thank them enough!
  We lost our rental car, but easily got where we needed on foot, bus, or taxi. It is close enough to everything, but far enough away from all the crowds.
  We definitely hope to return!!

  We had a great experience at White Sands. The unit was clean and just like the pictures. Communication with the property management was great. But best of all the private beach was FANTASTIC! Beautiful white sandy beach and crystal Caribbean blue water just steps from the rental. We were there in June and there was only 1 other couple on the beach so we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Even if more people would have been there, there would have been plenty of room I think. You also have 3 full lounge beach chairs to use, as well as some rafts to float on. Outdoor shower to hose off before coming in from the beach. The furniture was comfortable, including the bed, there were lots of bath towels, rags, and beach towels. The kitchen was also fully stocked with appliances and cookware. You have your own labeled parking spot so that was nice. It felt very safe and secure. Wifi worked great. It was a 5-15 minute drive from pretty much everything other than the Cayman Crystal Caves. We definitely didn’t want to leave! We will surely chose White Sands again as we can’t wait to come back to Grand Cayman.

  The booking process and management company communications were flawless. The condo was very much just like the pictures and description. I’m not sure I would describe it as “romantic” but it was certainly a pleasant and comfortable place to stay. We found the location to be perfect for our first visit to the Caymans. It was just north of the busiest section of Seven Mile Beach so it much quieter and yet there were lots of very good restaurants within a five minute drive. The beach was absolutely fantastic. White powdery sand, gentle waves, sunshine and a mild breeze. The perfect spot for a swim, walk along the beach or sitting in the sun or shade relaxing. The turtle center and sting ray/starfish excursions are well worth visiting. We would definitely recommend renting White Sands 9.
