At Rum Point, guests can indulge in snorkeling in the crystal-clear shallows, relish Surf & Turf dining right on the beach, sip on freshly stirred cocktails (rum-based, naturally!), rent Wave runners, embark on sailboat excursions, and more. After a day of adventure, retreat to Rum Sands to unwind in elegant surroundings. Situated within an intimate 3-cottage complex on Sand Point Cove, Rum Sands boasts a coastal-chic interior that sets it apart.

A screened-in lanai offers sweeping views of the sandy cove and its lush tropical landscaping, complete with a gentle breeze stirred by a twirling ceiling fan. Two Adirondack chairs just outside the lanai invite you to sit back and watch the sunrise over the cove. Guests can also explore the area with the double kayak provided by Rum Sands or opt to rent a bicycle or boat for further adventures.

Located in Cayman Kai/Rum Point, a predominantly residential area on the serene northern shore of Grand Cayman, Rum Sands offers a peaceful escape. While a rental car is recommended for convenience, guests can enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive from the airport to reach this idyllic destination.

  Hello. Rum Sands is a great place to stay, and I hope to stay there more in the future. The location is great, and overall it is a comfortable place. The hot water heater delivers very inconsistent hot water to the shower. It goes from really hot to lukewarm no matter what position the temperature adjust knob is in for the shower. I can live with it, but it seems like that is a problem that can and should be fixed. :-) Also, the bedroom ceiling fan is really quite loud. Again, I can live with it, but compared to a newer quieter fan, It is quite noisy.

  We absolutely loved Rum Sands. The cottage comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect and so scenic. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio under the palm trees. We especially enjoyed having a kayak available to explore Rum Point during the day and the bioluminescent bay at night.   Our third stay with you at this location. The size meets the needs of two people very well. Parking is great. On Sunday the younger night partiers at Rum Point tend to congregate directly across the street are are rather loud late afternoon into the early evening. Kitchen faucet is loose and could be tightened up. Other than that, all was great.

  A small but well-equipped property on bioluminescence bay. We loved it! Views out the back to the bay and across the road to the front of the ocean at Rum Point. We made good use of the kayak to see the bioluminescence which saved us a lot of money! The owner was quick to reply to any questions and we were able to stay late on the last day as there was no-one in after us.

  House was clean and just as described. Host was super easy to deal with. The location is absolutely amazing. Situated perfectly to enjoy Rum Point. Easy water access to Bio Bay!!!!! Very nice kayak to use to explore bio bay on your own for as long as you like without paying for a tour. It was amazing. Also, you can walk directly across the small street to the public access to the ocean side of Run Point for some amazing snorkeling and picture perfect sunsets. Rum Point restaurant also right across the street, as well as activities desk if you want to do any tours. You could nit ask for a better location

  We had a wonderful time on Grand Cayman staying at the Rum Sands Condo. It was just perfect for the two of us. The condo was clean and had great amenities. We used the cooler, beach chairs, and towels every day. We used the Weber grill and the double kayak several times. (Bioluminesence was fantatic!) Plenty of toilet paper, paper towel, soap, shampoo, laundry soap, and charcoal was provided. (I don't know if this is the norm or not!) There was even bottled water in the fridge for us. Jennifer from the property management was super friendly and helpful. The lanai and all the chairs outside were perfect for morning coffee and the blender provided looked small but packed a punch and made beautiful mudslides, and the ice maker works great - better than ours at home. Rum Point beach was lovely. The restaurant there was great and we could snorkel right out to what I think was a marine park. We saw a sea turtle and several sting rays not too far out. It's a bit of a drive back to Georgetown, but we only made that trip once, otherwise, we loved the location. The only negative was the lack of plastic cups - I recommend you bring your own refillable bottle. Stay here and you will not be disappointed!

  Rum Sands was a wonderful condo and suited our needs perfectly. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. We also had a cooler, snorkel gear, beach towels and much more available for our use. The location is across the street from the beach, restaurant and gift shop. The bioluminescent bay is in the backyard. A kayak was provided for our use and we went out at night into the bay. The bioluminescence is amazing and a MUST SEE.

  My wife and I stayed February 19th- 25th 2023. This is our second time renting from Cayman Villas and staying at this property. Property Manager Jessica is very nice and helpful. Perfect for the two of us and has everything we need. Great location for a north shore get away, with Rum Point across the street, Bioluminescent Bay behind, and dinner at Kiabo on the Beach a five minute drive away. A little far from town, but that's what we like but everything you need is available a short distance away (not walking). Tukka Restaurant about 25 away, same with Ocean Frontiers Dive Shop. Property has been very clean both times, and outfitted thoughtfully. Rental process was very easy.
