  This was a graduation trip for my daughter. What a wonderful beautiful island. Out stay was on the North side away from all of the clatter. The drive was about 11mi 45 min drive to the west end. It wasn’t bad at all. I will suggest to bring water shoes the sandstone can be a little rough. The house was fully equipped and very clean. Be sure to check out the Eco
  tour it was by far my favorite along with the Crystal Caves, and Botanical garden. This trip will not disappoint.

  We had a wonderful time at Mahogany Point 3 on Grand Caymen. The house was great for our group of 6. We loved the outdoor area and the kayak and paddle boards. If you come, make sure you have water shoes as the beach in front of the house has a lot of rock and coral. The house was clean upon our arrival and Chloe, the property manager, was very helpful. The only thing we had trouble with were the TVs. There were multiple remote controls, but no directions on how to use them. The tv in the upstairs bedroom didn’t even have a remote so that one was never able to be used. However, we weren’t there to watch tv. We had an amazing trip and had a lot of fun excursions on the island. We also like the fact that this property was on the north shore away from the traffic of the west side of the island. Overall, it was very enjoyable and I would recommend staying at Mahogany Point.

  It was exactly as described and pictured and met our expectations and exceeded them a bit in hominess and comfort. It was lovely and had most everything we wanted/needed. Not having a door on the primary bedroom upstairs is weird and uncomfortable but we knew this ahead of time and just used the other 2nd floor bedroom's bathroom. Warning: the staircase steps have short rise and run. With size 12 feet, I was forced to walk duck-foot and carefully when descending. Enough toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen sponge, dish soap and trash bags were provided for more than our 2 person 10 day stay. I used the pool only a couple times but it sure was pleasant. Property manager Chloe was very pleasant, responsive and effective. Curious how quickly we adapted to the heat/humidity - when we arrived, we needed the a/c at 75 but within a couple days, we had it at 79 or 80. HVAC worked very well. Had fabulous dinners at Tukkas East End almost every night! Used the villa's charcoal grill for one dinner - perfect! Almost all grocery shopping was done at Foster's Countryside in Savannah with minor purchases at helpful Chisholm's Grocery just up the street from the villa. We would definitely return to this villa. May 10-20, 2025.

  The Villa is great. Well appointed, recently remodeled, very comfortable. This was our fourth time to Grand Cayman and we wanted to try a different location. Just came with my husband; left the kids at home. We were hoping the north side would be a good place to bring the kids and save some $ compared to 7 Mile. But the beach and location was disappointing. Lots of seaweed washed up on the beach, I mean whole wheel-barrows full, with the occasional trash. You can't really walk the beach much, as you'll be walking past trash and seaweed. Entering the water is a bit tricky due to the iron shore, and the reef is very close to shore, so there is not a large area of calm water; especially as you're on the windy side of the island. I'd recommend the association hire daily cleaning of the beach/grounds to remove the seaweed and trash. It really detracted from the typical tropical/paradise feel of the Island. It would be OK for a couple, wouldn't recommend for kids, as we thought if we brought our kids we'd constantly be packing them into the car and heading to Rum Point or Morrits for better beach, restaurants, etc.

As noted in our listing and shown in the photos, the villa is located on a naturally rocky, north-facing shoreline, known for its excellent snorkeling and peaceful surroundings rather than sandy beach walking or swimming. The north side does tend to be windier at certain times of year, and nature can bring in seaweed and other debris depending on the season and weather patterns. While the beach is maintained regularly, we appreciate your suggestion for more frequent cleanings and will share this with the homeowners' association. However, at this time of year cleaning the beach daily would not be feasible as it is very expensive. We always strive to ensure our guests have a clear picture of what to expect, and your comments will help future guests determine if this unique and quieter part of the island is right for their trip.   Wonderful Spot on the North Side. We have stayed many times on 7 mile beach area and wanted something different. This was fantastic. Excellent property and well maintained. A step from the beach. Paddle boards are great. Excellent snorkeling literally 10 feet from the beach. We saw more marine life on the coral heads outside our front door than we did scuba diving on the trip. Mornings spent scuba diving East End and afternoons spent snorkeling, and evenings spent visiting various restaurants from Rum Point to East Side. Crystal Caves was way more exciting than any of us imagined.
  Hats off to Chloe the property manager and her husband (and nephew) for going out of their way to give our car a jump start and leaving us with battery charger for back up. We ended up using it and needing new battery from rental car company. Huge Thank You.

  We were very happy with our stay on the mahogany point north side villas. Nice quiet beach a little rocky but wonderful. We would definitely go back. They could use a few more restaurants in the area but the ones there were good. The accommodations were great, kitchen was well stocked with a lot of spices. We had a barbecue grill. Plenty of towels and a washer and dryer. Perfect stay.

  What can I say? We stayed in Mahogany Point 3 for a family vacation - 2 adults, 3 college kids - in Early August 2022.
  
  This place is awesome! I would love to have Villa this cool back home. Sleek and modern, and with plenty of room, we were thrilled to stay here. We had everything we needed for meals and so forth, and equipment to play in the water right out the front door!
  
  Speaking of the water out front....The sand was very soft and smooth, albeit a bit rocky in places to get into and out of the water (fairly common in GC), and the sea life did not disappoint. There were plenty of fish, urchins and corals in the ocean out the front door. We snorkeled out to the reef and found plenty of life right there. No need to drive anywhere.
  
  Chisolm's grocery is 2 minutes away, and you can get anything there as far as groceries. Rum Point and Kaibo restaurant is a 10 minute drive for some dinner, and playing on the beach.
  
  Since this place is on the NOrth shore it is secluded and quiet. That's why we picked it and loved it. Very clean, great water and everything worked very well. We'll be back!!
  
  Cayman Villas and our rep was also very helpful getting us in the front door, and then we didn't need them the rest of the stay, although I was confident that they would be a great help if needed.
